ABOUT

In 2021 I was selected to be one of 150 artists and designers to undertake a new 6 month creative schools’ program with Regional Arts Victoria.

During this time I have the chance to be able to further my design practice within the field of furniture design. Through developing a sculptural chair, which will be left behind for the school to display on campus for the years to come. The sculptural chair uses the processes of parametric modelling that consist of about 38 pieces of plywood that will be held together with wooden spacing and threaded rods.

What is parametric modelling? Well, it’s the process of using CAD, numerical values, and constraints to help generate a series of design outputs based on a set of parameters. Which in conclusion allows you to control form and design
